Bristol Rovers defender Alfie Kilgour has reportedly emerged as a transfer target Southampton, Bournemouth and Queens Park Ranger according to Bristol Live reports.
Bournemouth has been known as one of the clubs in the Premier League that have been on par with identifying rising stars from lower leagues.
David Brooks, Callum Wilson and Charlie Daniels to name a few have been some of the players who have been signed by manager Eddie Howe following their performances in the Football League and it appears Kilgour could be joining that list of rough diamonds.
The 21-year-old has been impeccable for Bristol Rovers and it comes at no surprise why he is attracting the interest of The Cherries’ rival Southampton as well.
It will be an opportunity of a lifetime for Kilgour to play in the Premier League even though he has expressed his contentment in playing for his childhood club – he will also be pleased with the idea of Queens Park Rangers and Millwall keen on his services.
It will be interesting to see where the Bath-born’s future will lie in the following years to come.
