English League Two side Bradford City FC are believed to be in contention to sign Ghanaian striker Dan Agyei from Oxford United in the upcoming transfer window, Football Ghana reported.
Agyei was set for a move to Bradford during the January transfer window but the move did not materialise at the last minute and had to remain at Oxford.
The 22-year-old has scored three goals from 13 league appearances which, a first half of the season he’d rather forget.
Agyei came through the AFC Wimbledon youth ranks where he scored 35 goals for the U21 team during the 2014/15 and that put him on the radar of several clubs.
The Ghanaian eventually joined Premier League club, Burnley, on a long-term contract – he has since been shipped out on loan to Coventry City, Walsall and Blackpool.
