Former Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino has admitted he would love to make a return to the Premier League.
Pochettino was sacked by Spurs last year November and with former Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho taking over. The Argentine has since been linked with a move to United who are reportedly hunting for his services. Speaking to Sky Sports, Poch admitted he is open to managing a Premier League club despite having links with Tottenham.
“To be honest, I would love to work in the Premier League. It’s going to be difficult, I know, and for now, it’s a moment to wait and we’ll see what happens,” he said.
“It’s a moment of recovery, to think about yourself a little bit, and to be ready because in football always something can happen and you need to be ready. I’m ready and waiting for a new challenge. I have the belief and confidence that the next challenge will be fantastic.”
