ATLANTA — No. 1 LSU leads No. 4 Oklahoma 21-7 after one quarter of play in the Peach Bowl national semifinal. Tigers quarterback Joe Burrow has been sensational, going 11 of 14 for 166 yards passing and three touchdowns in the first frame at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, putting LSU in the driver’s seat to earn the first bid for the College Football Playoff National Championship.Burrow got the Tigers on the board on the first drive of the game with a 19-yard touchdown pass to Justin Jefferson on their third play from scrimmage. He backed it up with an 8-yarder to Terrace Marshall midway through the first quarter and a 35-yard strike down the left sideline with 1:16 to play to push the lead to two scores. Oklahoma, meanwhile, has struggled to get the offense going behind senior quarterback Jalen Hurts.
