The Knicks are still in search of their first win of the season after going 0-3 in the opening week. The matchup to follow along with in this one comes from rookie guards R.J. Barrett and Coby White, who both impressed in their first week of NBA basketball.

This is an early gut-check for the Hawks, who go head-to-head with the 76ers in a matchup between two 2-0 teams. Trae Young has been incredible through two games, averaging a league-leading 38.5 points per game. Can he keep that going against a stout defensive talent like Ben Simmons and the Sixers?

In a rematch of last year’s first round of the Eastern Conference Playoffs, the Raptors square off against a solid Magic squad. The main reason to watch this one has nothing to do with the actual matchup – the Raptors are rocking their throwback 90’s jerseys, playing on their throwback court for the first time this season!

Both of these teams are projected to be playoff teams in the West by the end of the season. It’s tests like these that show a team’s true colours early on in the year. Will it be Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum or DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge that step up to help their team earn a marquee win?

PREVIEW | BOX SCORE | PLAY-BY-PLAY

The Suns have been the biggest shock through the first week of the NBA season, taking the Nuggets to overtime in a loss then defeating the LA Clippers on the second night of a back-to-back. Can they continue their strong start or will the Utah Jazz put them back in their place?

PREVIEW | BOX SCORE | PLAY-BY-PLAY

The Kings did not look great in the first week of the season and things don’t get much easier as they host the Nuggets. They’ll be without starting forward Marvin Bagley III, so they’ll have to find another way to try and stop All-Star centre Nikola Jokic in an effort to pick up their first win.

PREVIEW | BOX SCORE | PLAY-BY-PLAY

The Clippers were stunned by the Suns to blemish their perfect start to the season. With the Hornets on a back-to-back following a tough loss to the Lakers, the Clippers look to get back to their winning ways in this one.
