Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has returned to Dallas after his summer break and is already getting to work preparing for the season.
Dallas Mavericks fans love Luka Doncic. The 20-year-old is an elite playmaker, ball-handler, and scorer. He is also always smiling. Luka’s years playing for Real Madrid made him famous, but his one season in Dallas has taken that to another level.
The Mavericks have also committed to building the team around Doncic. They added Delon Wright because he is willing to play off the ball and take on the toughest perimeter matchup on the defensive end. Seth Curry gives the Mavs an elite shooter for Luka to find. Kristaps Porzingis provides the team with a deadly pick and pop threat that is a second All-Star talent.
Luka Doncic is not taking any of this lightly. He committed himself to getting in the best shape of his life this summer. Doncic traveled back to Europe after the season, but he has returned to Dallas. The Mavericks do not begin training camp until Sept. 1, but Luka got right to work.

He also posted a few photos of the workout on his Instagram.
Doncic arriving a month before camp begins shows fans he is serious about improving his conditioning and leading the Mavs. The 20-year-old won a ton of games with Real Madrid. He is hungry to get his first NBA playoff experience. The team has the talent, but it needs to mesh together to reach that goal.
Doncic was working out with Dorian Finney-Smith. Expect other Mavericks to begin heading to Dallas to get some reps in before training camp.
Fans should be excited about the upcoming campaign. There are less than two months until opening night of the regular season. The NBA is starting to ramp up. Looking for analysis on the Dallas Mavericks this season? The Smoking Cuban will have you covered with all that and more, so check back often.
