Leicester City began their new Premier League season with a goalless draw on Sunday. The Foxes failed to find a way past an organised Wolves side and had to rely on VAR to save them from defeat. Wolves thought they had won the tie at the King Power Stadium when Leander Dendoncker turned home a shot from close-range early in the second half, but VAR ruled out the strike for handball in the build-up. It proved to be a frustrating afternoon for City, who failed to get going, managing just one shot-on-target across the whole afternoon. And the disappointing attacking display reflected in the fantasy football scores of City’s frontmen. Though, a clean sheet meant it was a good week to have Foxes defenders in your team, particularly Ricardo Pereira who tops the points list.
