Gerald Alexander continues to rack up future talent. On Sunday afternoon, the Cal football secondary coach scored the Bears their 16th recruit for the Class of 2020, earning a commitment from three-star cornerback Trey Paster of Atwater, CA.
The Buhach Colony High School product announced his decision via Instagram and Twitter, choosing the Bears over four other Pac-12 programs, and giving both Alexander and Cal head coach Justin Wilcox a shoutout in the process.

Paster is the third defensive back to join Alexander’s future secondary room, joining fellow three-star recruits Isaiah Young and Dejuan Butler. He is also the sixth defensive player in Cal’s 2020 recruiting haul.
Heading into the 2019 season, Paster is ranked No. 52 overall in his class.
