Former Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur boss Andre Villas-Boas will take charge at Olympique de Marseille, the Ligue 1 club said on Tuesday.

Portuguese Villas-Boas, 41, will replace Rudi Garcia, who left the club after guiding it to a fifth-placed finish in Ligue 1.

Villas-Boas has been out of a job since he left Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG in Nov. 2017, after a year at the club during which he led them to the runners-up position in the Chinese Super League and the Chinese FA Cup, as well as to the semi-finals of the Asian Champions League.
