Derek Adams has been sacked after eight matches without a win at Plymouth
Plymouth have sacked Derek Adams as first-team manager of the relegation-threatened League One club with just one game left of the season.
The Pilgrims were thrashed 5-1 by Accrington Stanley on Saturday – their fifth successive league defeat – to leave them in the bottom four on goal difference.
Plymouth host Scunthorpe, who are also battling for survival in the relegation zone, on the final day of the league campaign.
